In the summer of 2016 I started the first semester of a two-year program called Ghetto Film School. During this semester we were taught how to use a camera, write a script, shoot a scene, direct actors, use lighting equipment, and lastly, how to edit a film using AVID. After being taught all these important and awesome things we were given an assignment, to write, direct and shoot a short film. It took a lot of work and time. I was faced with many challenges like location problems and the mental breakdowns during the editing process but overall I managed to overcome them, solve my problems and in the end, shoot my first film ever.
